On Wednesday 16th July, QAEHS PhD student Tobias Hulleman competed at the Faculty of Health, Medicine and Behavioural Sciences Faculty Final for the Three Minute Thesis competition, hosted at the Dutton Park campus.

Tobias, who was awarded First Place and People’s Choice from the recent SPPS/QAEHS competition, was awarded People’s Choice at the Faculty Final. He will now progress to the Wildcard Competition where the People’s Choice winner from each Faculty Final is given the chance to compete for a place in the University 3MT Final.
Tobias commented, “I am grateful for all the support from my fellow QAEHS and School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences students and colleagues that attended my presentation. I plan on bringing my 3-minute presentation to the next level for the Wildcard competition and hopefully move on to the UQ final.”
QAEHS Director, Prof Kevin Thomas, commended the achievement, stating, “Receiving the People’s Choice Award is a testament to the impact and clarity of Tobi’s presentation, and progressing to the wildcard competition reflects his dedication to improving his excellent science communication skills.”
