QAEHS, through its partnership with Queensland Health (QH), has a shared vision to improve human health through environmental health science.
We aim to achieve this through addressing local, national and global environmental health science challenges and attain first class outcomes in research, training and partnership engagement while meeting the needs of Queensland and the wider community. The outcomes QAEHS is positioned to achieve are:
- A high quality and dynamic program of interdisciplinary research that solves current and emerging global environmental health challenges
- An established Environmental Health Science education and training program that builds national capability
- QAEHS as the recognised expert will be the first point of call for environmental health science in Australia
- QAEHS as a provider of science-based knowledge that leads to policies aimed at improving health outcomes
