Researcher biography
Laura completed a Bachelors degree in Chemistry from University of Cartagena, Colombia in 2018 and a Masters degree in Analytical and Environmental Chemistry at Ghent University in Belgium in 2022. She has experience with environmental contaminants in breast milk samples and working experience in estuarine and seawater analysis and monitoring. In October 2022 Laura joined Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Science (QAEHS) as a PhD student with a project focused on mother infant microplastic exposure.
