Researcher biography

Sriram V completed his B.Tech. in Civil Engineering from Christ University, Bengaluru, in 2020. His undergraduate research focused on the application of hydrogel for sustainable agriculture. He worked as a junior project engineer for a short while, after which he worked as an academic editor at Cactus Communications Pvt. Ltd. Subsequently, he completed his M.Tech. in Environmental Science and Technology at NIT Karnataka, Surathkal (2023-2025). His research work on "Caffeine degradation using zinc oxide nanocomposites" was presented in the International Conference on Materials for Advanced Technologies (ICMAT 2025), held at Singapore. He is interested in the fields of environmental remediation, photocatalysis, life cycle assessment, and hydrogels. He is currently enrolled as PhD candidate in the University of Queensland-IIT Delhi Academy of Research (UQIDAR), to work on the project titled "Cross regional comparison of emerging contaminants in urban catchments."
