Ami Sharma

Ami Sharma is a joint Ph.D. researcher at IIT Delhi and the University of Queensland, focusing on air and plastic pollution in urban environments. She holds an M.Tech in Environmental Engineering from NIT Warangal and has published in the Royal Society of Chemistry on microbial fuel cells for bioenergy and resource recovery. Her research journey includes a year-long internship at CSIR-IICT Hyderabad and work in sustainability through life cycle assessment. She served as Speaker at the National Environment Youth Parliament and represented Rajasthan at the National Youth Parliament. Committed to environmental causes and community engagement, Ami is the founding President of SIPAA and actively volunteers with the global team of Paryavaran Sanrakshan Gatividhi.
