Prenatal exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals affects children’s brains and behaviour

Dr. Deborah Dewey is a Professor of Pediatrics and Community Health Sciences at the University of Calgary and the co-lead on the Alberta Pregnancy and Nutrition (APrON) study, a longitudinal pregnancy cohort study of ~2200 families in Alberta, Canada. Her research focuses on the role that the perinatal environment plays in children’s neurodevelopment. In this talk, she will present recent findings on the effects of endocrine disrupting chemicals in children’s neurodevelopment.
