Wastewater based epidemiology as a tool to measure food consumption, vitamin intake and stress at a population level

Systematic sampling and analysis of wastewater has become an important tool for monitoring consumption of drugs and other substances. Wastewater has also been proposed as a tool to monitor aspects of population health such as food consumption and stress, but little progress has been made in this area. In this talk, Phil will present his project of measuring urinary biomarkers of food and vitamin intake and stress in wastewater.
