This seminar will first present the publishing of a well-structured database of collected pooled blood samples in Australia. PFAS age and time trends are highly substance specific with continuous decrease of PFOS and PFOA, but quadratic trends for PFNA. Serum concentrations are substantially higher in the younger age group 0-5 for Me-PFOSA-AcOH, PFOA, and PBDEs99, 100, 153, thus the importance of the pooled sample strategy enabling to cover younger age groups. Applying machine learning tools such as random survival forest to a cleaned and publicly available harmonized NHANES database, we will identify factors affecting most mortality.
