Dr Cassandra Rauert is a Senior Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences and microplastics research lead in the Minderoo Centre- Plastics and Human Health. Her research focuses on developing robust and reliable methods for detecting micro and nanoplastics in human matrices and will discuss current challenges in this analytical field.
