Glyphosate is the most extensively used herbicide globally, raising concerns regarding human exposure and associated health hazards. Dr. Li’s research has focused on the monitoring of glyphosate and its metabolite aminomethylphosphonic acid (AMPA) in human urine and environmental matrices including indoor dust and surface water. His work also investigates human exposure routes, exposure dose, and relevant health risks.
Zhongmin Li received his Ph.D. in Environmental Health from the Technical University of Munich (Germany) in 2020. From 2021 to 2025, he served as a postdoctoral fellow at the New York University School of Medicine and a Research Scientist at the New York State Department of Health. In 2026, Dr. Li joined Nankai University (China) as a full professor, where he leads a research group dedicated to the exposure monitoring of trace organic contaminants.
