Dr Thi Minh Hong (Rose) Nguyen
Hong (Rose) Nguyen is an Environmental Engineering graduate with a B.Sc (Honours) and M.Eng. She has contributed to various research projects, including constructed wetland technology and the application of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes for wastewater treatment and reuse. Recently, Rose successfully completed her PhD on soil washing technology for the remediation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS)-contaminated soil. Her PhD project aimed to enhance understanding of the fate and transport behaviour of PFAS in soil-water systems. In 2023, Rose served as a postdoctoral research fellow, focusing on the human exposome at QAEHS. In September 2023, she embraced a new role as an Environmental Consultant at Ramboll where she actively involved in various contaminated land and groundwater projects.
