
Hong (Rose) Nguyen is an Environmental Engineering graduate with a B.Sc (Honours) and M.Eng. She has worked on various research projects, such as constructed wetlands for wastewater treatment and the application of ultraviolet light-emitting diodes for water reuse. Recently, Rose completed her Ph.D. on soil washing technology for the remediation of per- and polyfluoroalkyl (PFAS)-contaminated soil. Her Ph.D. project aimed to enhance the understanding of the fate and transport behaviour of PFAS in soil-water systems. Rose has started her postdoctoral research focusing on the human exposome at QAEHS in February 2023.
