Researcher biography

Dr Jianhua Guo has been working on the interface between environmental microbiology, environmental biotechnology and process engineering. He focuses on the effective integration of these disciplines to develop innovative and sustainable technological solutions to achieve efficient and effective removal of emerging contaminants or pathogens from various waters. He has a particular interest in understanding of environmental dimension of antimicrobial resistance (AMR). He was awarded an ARC Future Fellowship in 2017. He has to date published over 100 refereed journal papers.
