Researcher biography
Joseph received his BSc (Hons) in Environmental Science in 2013 from the University of Plymouth. In 2019 he received a MSc in aquatic ecology and water quality management from Wageningen University and Research. In 2024 he completed his PhD at the University of Queensland titled ‘Improved monitoring of hydrophilic aquatic contaminants of emerging concern’. In his current role as a Senior Research analyst at QAEHS Joseph continues to expand his analytical and laboratory based skills.
His research capabilities include:

- Method development for chemical quantification in environmental matrices
- Data management, analysis and visualisation
- Computational chemistry and predictive statistics
- LCMS analysis of environmental samples
