Researcher biography

Dr Jennifer Bräunig is a Senior Scientist in the Science, Economics and Insights Division at the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment. In her role in the Contaminants and Risk Team, she provides expert advice on environmental risks and contaminant assessments, remediation and human health risks from exposure to chemicals.  

Jennifer is also an Adjunct Senior Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences, University of Queensland, and is actively involved in several research projects relating to the remediation of PFAS in soils and water and the exposure of humans to PFAS.
