Xuan (Zoe) Qu joined QAEHS as a senior research technician in 2022. She obtained her Bachelor of Environmental Engineering at Harbin Institution of Technology, China (2007) and a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Queensland (2012). Her research journey includes wastewater treatment and coal processing /beneficiation.
Xuan worked at a commercial laboratory for food chemistry analysis before joining QAEHS. Before the job, she worked as a research engineer in a privately funded company, which developed microbiological process for enhanced hydrocarbon recovery in the coal mining and gas industry. Her job was process design and research development.
