Researcher biography
Reena is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS), The University of Queensland (UQ). Her PhD research focused on the assessment of human exposure to plastic-associated chemicals through the development of multiple analytical methods for use in human biomonitoring. Her postdoctoral research aims to advance understanding of human exposure to chemicals of emerging concern. Reena is the project lead of the Questionnaire- and Urine-based Exposure Source Tracking (QUEST) project, established to elucidate human exposure sources and pathways, as well as the short-term temporal variability of exposure biomarkers. Her other research interests include human metabolism and identification of exposure biomarkers.
