Researcher biography
Pooja Lakhey holds a Bachelor's degree in Microbiology and a Master's degree in Public Health Microbiology from Tribhuvan University. She has worked in UNICEF’s collaborative project with Nepal's Ministry of Health and Population to address public health miscommunication during the COVID-19 pandemic. Pooja is a QUEX 2022/23 scholar pursuing a joint PhD at the University of Queensland and the University of Exeter. Her research focuses on ‘The suitability of wastewater-based epidemiology for antimicrobial resistance surveillance.’
