Researcher biography
Ruvini received her Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura in Sri Lanka. She then went on to pursue an MPhil degree at the same university. Her research there focused on the identification of chemicals toxicity and antifouling potential of some marine fouling organisms. She is now a PhD candidate at Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Science (QAEHS). Her research aims to develop hyphenated methodologies for quantifying halogenated plastic materials.
