Researcher biography
Dr Vinh Bui has a background in both computer science and electrical engineering. He is researching in the area of applied computing with the main focus is on machine learning, nature-inspired optimisation algorithms, and big data analytics for applications in healthcare, tourism and smart environments. He has a special interest in machine learning algorithms for embedded systems and the Internet of Things’ edge devices.
Dr Vinh Bui is currently with the Faculty of Science and Engineering, Southern Cross University.
