Researcher biography

Phil Choi is a PhD student developing methods to measure and understand aspects of population health based on chemicals present in wastewater. He is particularly interested in measuring pharmaceuticals such as antidepressants, as well as endogenous biomarkers which reflect upon the food consumed and stress experienced by individuals in a population. Phil draws upon his passion for mass spectrometry and his background in biochemistry and molecular biology to tackle his research questions.
