Study reveals dishwashers can emit microplastic particles

A study conducted by QAEHS’s Dr Elvis Okoffo, has found that household dishwashers emit plastic particles into the wastewater system. More research is called for to compare differences with old and new materials to see what impact that has along with temperature used and the type of wash cycle.
