Systems BioMedicine – interplay between fats, bugs and proteins

Associate Professor Michelle Hill is a group leader at QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute, and principal research fellow at UQ Diamantina Institute. She will provide an overview of her laboratory’s research to improve cancer detection and prevention. Together with interdisciplinary collaborators, her team integrates multiple omics data and uses mass spectrometry and FTIR spectroscopy to improve diagnosis and understand the mechanisms of obesity and microbiome in cancers.
