Opportunities in Clean Sport: Anti-Doping at the Olympic Games and the new ITA Academic Centre at UQ
Dr Mark Stuart, Head of the ITA Academy at the International Testing Agency (ITA), Switzerland, will visit UQ to talk about the ITA Academy's Global Training Framework for Anti-Doping and Clean Sport and what it means for UQ as an official ITA Academic Centre. Mark will outline the ITA's training and certification programs which can now be accessed by UQ students, staff and alumni, covering doping control, blood collection, chaperoning, clean sport education, and safeguarding, and the doors this training can open particularly in the runup to Brisbane 2032. He will also talk about his work leading pharmacy services at the Olympic Games, with numerous events since Sydney 2000, including London 2012, Tokyo 2020, Paris 2024, and Milano Cortina 2026.
