Researcher biography
Dhaya holds a BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from the University of Malaya (Malaysia). After working for several years as a Science Officer (Biochemist), she furthered her postgraduate degree by earning a joint master's degree, Erasmus Mundus Master in Quality in Analytical Laboratories (EMQAL), funded by European Union from the University of Cadiz (Spain) and University of Bergen (Norway). Dhaya started her Ph.D. at QAEHS in October 2022. She is investigating the transformation of new psychoactive substances and the application of passive sampling in wastewater for spatio-temporal monitoring.
