Researcher biography
Hieu Ngo is an early-career researcher from Vietnam with a background in public and environmental health. She earned her Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Ho Chi Minh City in 2020. Following graduation, she worked on several environmental health research projects as a research assistant and collaborator. Hieu joined the Queensland Alliance for Environmental Health Sciences (QAEHS) to begin her PhD research in 2025. Her research focuses on using wastewater-based epidemiology to monitor drug use trends in Australia.
