Last Wednesday QAEHS welcomed a guest talk from Professor Denise Mitrano. Zooming in all the way from ETH Zürich, Switzerland.
Professor Mitrano discussed her work on the study of nanoplastic particle fate and behaviour through both biotic and abiotic systems, from plants to wastewater treatment systems. As well as, how her team generate traceable plastic particles by embedding rare metals detectable in complex sample media.
