Plastic additives in seabird eggs

QAEHS researchers, Prof Kevin Thomas, Dr Xianyu (Fisher) Wang, Chun-Yin (Julia) Lin, and Joseph Clokey, are collaborating with researchers from Exeter, Prof Jonathan Blount, Simon F. Allen, Francesca Ellis, Christopher Mitchell, and Dr Neeltje Boogert, to look for evidence of phthalates (chemicals used to make plastics more durable) and their metabolites in newly laid herring gull eggs.
