QAEHS congratulates recent graduates Dr Elvis Okoffo and Dr Francisca Ribeiro on completing their PhDs.
Elvis focussed on developing quantitative analytical methods to measure and provide an understanding of plastic residues in Australian wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) biosolids, and subsequent releases into the Australian environment. Francisca completed a joint PhD program with the University of Exeter (QUEX) researching the risks of dietary exposure to microplastics from seafood consumption.
