QAEHS researchers Dr Cassie Rauert, Dr Pradeep Dewapriya, Dr Jake O'Brien and Prof Kevin Thomas have this week been in Hobart presenting some of QAEHS’s research at ASASS 2023 (www.asass2023.org).

Kevin gave a plenary lecture presenting some of our recent wastewater-based epidemiology work to kick off the meeting, Cassie presented a keynote on our most recent work on tyre wear and additives, Pradeep gave a talk on our work on identifying novel PFAS in blood and Jake closed the meeting with a presentation on some of our non-target high resolution mass spectrometry work. We also got to meet with most of our partners in the new ARC Training Centre for Hyphenated Analytical Separation Technologies. It has been great to network with colleagues working in different areas of the analytical sciences, catch up with friends and colleagues new and old and enjoy some great Tasmanian hospitality. We are all certainly looking forward to the next ASASS.
