QAEHS students win SETAC research grants

Congratulations to QAEHS HDR Students, Stacey O’Brien and Rachel Mackie who have been awarded SETAC Asia Pacific 2022 Student Research Grants. Stacey received First Place and Rachel received an Honourable Mention. Stacey has been awarded $2,500 towards her proposed research project to look at the relationship between microplastics in road, dust and air.

SETAC supports and facilitates the development of principles and practices for the protection, enhancement and management of sustainable environmental quality and ecosystem integrity. SETAC recognises outstanding contributions of individuals or groups to environmental science, and to the society by means of their Awards Program.
